Once you’ve graduated from your @Training Wheels, you are able to create and run your own longstanding NPCs.

RodBot

You should have access to Rod already. Here are some helpful commands:

• .listnpcs - Lists every NPC stored in Rod by their name and alias.
• .addnpc <alias> <name> <imageUrl> - Adds a new NPC to Rod. Alias is the shorthand you use in future commands, and Name is the full display name.
  • e.g. .addnpc gaf "Gafwen, the Resplendent" "imageurlhere.png"
• .editnpc <alias> <name> <imageUrl> - Edits an existing alias’s name and/or image url. The Name is required, but imageUrl can be left blank.
• .remnpc <alias> - Removes the corresponding NPC.
• .npc <alias> <text> - Speak as an NPC
• .setchannelalias <alias> - Sets all further chat in the channel you run this command in to automatically convert to the NPC’s speech. You can put parentheses around your chat to bypass. Run the command again with off as the alias to remove it.

AirTable

You can also maintain an NPC board on the RM AirTable. First, you’ll need to get editor access to the database here.

Set DM Status

1. Navigate to the Players folder.
2. Click on your player card. Under Role, set it to DM.

Creating a Gallery

1. Navigate to the NPCs folder.
2. Click on the + icon for Galleries at the bottom left.
