Every new player is required to run through a guild initiation. This is requested through a @Welcome Squad ping in one of the main hall channels.

To run an initiation, use Jo (.npc jo <text>) to RP the following scene with the new recruit:

1. Describe the Mark tavern. ?jostart can be used as an intro exposition block.
2. Welcome the character.
3. Explain that Raven’s Mark is a tavern/adventuring guild with free room & board for its members.
4. Provide an application for them to fill out (an in-universe character sheet). You can run ?joterms after handing over the form to describe T&C.
5. Provide a short, verbal tour of the guild. If you’d like, try out the ?jotour command!
6. Ask where they’d like their Mark, and give them the stamp.
7. Pour and give the initiation shot, which is a wispy white liquid.
8. Make the joke! (”It really lightens the mood!”)
9. Welcome them to the guild!

NOTE: ?jotour will give the basic rundown of the Mark and prompt the player for where they’d like their Mark. Best if run after the application has been filled out.
